Cheers to being part of the growing West Falls Church neighborhood
At 5:00 AM on a cool spring morning, customers eagerly waited outside of our newest Compass Coffee location in Falls Church. The first few arrived at 3:00 AM. By 4:00 AM, the crowd had grown to 20. An hour later, as the cafe opened its doors, the line had extended out the door with over 50 people inside and 70 waiting in the driveway. Why were so many people there so early? To celebrate the West Falls Church community and honor its members with a special celebration treat – free coffee!
As you may know, we recently celebrated the opening of our second drive-thru cafe in West Falls Church. After the opening of our first drive-thru in Arlington, we observed that a key group of our customer base were looking for a more convenient way to grab their daily coffee. We found this to be a great opportunity to reinforce our core values of speed, quality, and friendliness. We are excited to extend our reach and bring the same level of quality and convenience to the West Falls Church neighborhood!
During our opening on Monday, April 1st, we had the pleasure of welcoming many eager members of the community to our new cafe, including Falls Church City Mayor Letti Hardy and Providence District Supervisor Dalia Palchik. At our Grand Opening Celebration on April 5th, we were thrilled to connect with even more community members including several local businesses and even the Falls Church Volunteer Fire Department! We believe that coffee isn’t the only thing that makes our cafes special – it's the people and the communities they create that truly make them extraordinary. At Compass, our primary aim when launching a new cafe is to cultivate these connections.
Our new location not only offers a quick and efficient drive-thru experience, it also features a spacious and vibrant cafe, making it the perfect place to come together, enjoy a cup of quality coffee, and relax in a cozy ambiance. Even better – coming this summer we will be adding outdoor seating to our our cafe, the quintessential place to spend a warm summer afternoon with an ice cold drink in hand!
